For campers who pitch on soft ground

Nothing should run you off the spot you picked

Screw-in tent pegs, guyline tensioners and a rail for your van. Made in Spain, one at a time, after you order.

An EACAMPSY screw peg on rock

How it works

It screws in. That is the whole idea.

A straight peg is held in by friction, which is exactly what sand, mud and snow do not give it. A thread holds the ground between the turns instead.

01

Turn it in by hand

Point it where you want it and screw, like a bolt. No hammer and no hunting for a rock.

02

Hook the line

Loop the guyline over the head and pull it tight. The harder it pulls, the better the thread bites.

Hook the line
03

Turn it back out

Two turns in the morning and it is in your hand. Nothing bent and nothing left in the ground.

Turn it back out
The wind picks up. You don't.
You pack up in ten minutes and leave with all of it.

3:14 a.m.

The wind picks up. You don't.

The line is still tight. The tent hasn't moved. Tomorrow you'll remember the place, not the night.

Sunday, 6:40 p.m.

You pack up in ten minutes and leave with all of it.

Nothing stuck in the ground. Nothing left buried behind you.

The smallest part decides how your night goes

The expensive half of your kit rarely fails. The cheap half does, and that is the half that sends you home early. That is the part worth buying properly.

Before you spend a euro

This is not for everyone, and we would rather say so now

We would rather lose a sale than have you open the parcel and feel it does not fit how you camp.

Do not buy this if

  • You only ever camp on hard, compacted ground. There a steel peg wins and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
  • You need it this week. Every part is made after you order, so it takes days, not hours.
  • You are looking for safety equipment. These are camping accessories: never use them to hold a person.

This is for you if

  • You camp on sand, grass, loose soil or anything soft, where ordinary pegs give up.
  • You have already lost, bent or hammered a peg with a rock, and you are tired of it.
  • You live out of a van and everything that is not fastened down ends up on the floor.

Who is behind this

One person, one year, and about ten failed versions of each part

One year

That is how long these three parts took to become these three parts. A year of taking them out and coming back with notes.

Ten versions binned

Roughly ten discarded versions of each part, in a box in the workshop. You are buying the eleventh.

Tested on our own tent

Not in a lab. On real ground, over a lot of nights. If it failed on us, it never reached this page.

Fifteen days to be sure

Try it where you actually camp. If it is not for you, send it back within 15 days. No explanation needed.

How your order is made

There is no warehouse. There is a machine and a pair of hands.

01

You order

Nothing is sitting on a shelf. The day your order comes in is the day your part starts being made.

You order
02

It goes on the machine

Each peg is about an hour and a half on the machine, so a set of six is close to ten hours. The rail takes about six on its own.

03

It gets checked by hand

The ones that are not right go in the failures box, not in your parcel.

It leaves Spain

Before you ask

What usually worries people

In hard, compacted ground a steel peg wins, and we are not going to tell you otherwise. In sand, loose soil, grass or anything soft, a steel peg pulls straight out under load and ours screws in and holds. Pick by the ground you camp on, not by the material.

Because it is not the same object. A supermarket peg is stamped by the million and made to be thrown away. This one is designed here, tested outdoors, and made one at a time after you place your order. If price is the only thing that matters to you, buy the cheap ones. We mean that.

Then do not change all of them. Keep your steel pegs for hard ground and carry a few of these for the corners that never hold.

You have 15 days from delivery to send it back, and you do not owe us a reason. Write to us, we give you the return address, and your money goes back to the same card.

From Spain, posted within 3 to 5 working days of your order because it is made after you order it. You will see the exact delivery time at checkout.
