Tensioner
Thread the line, loop the peg, thread it back. The line stays tight all night and in the morning it lets go with one pull. No knots to learn and no knots to undo.

Look closer
Looks like a triangle. Does five jobs.
Tap each number to see what every part solves.
1 You can see when it is tight
The tab in the middle flexes as the line pulls. When its two marks line up, that is it. You can read it at a glance, even by headlamp.
2 Grip for cold hands
The deep ribs along the side and the base are there so you can pull hard with gloves or mittens on without it slipping.
3 It cleans the line as it passes
The serrated edge on the other side scrapes the mud off the line before it runs through the guides. Less dirt inside, fewer jams.
4 Hang things without untying anything
The keyhole slot in the base takes a lantern, a pair of socks or whatever else needs to dry overnight.
5 Everyone knows whose it is
The raised panel in the middle is the ID plate. The name goes there, and there it stays.
How it works
Three moves and you are done
Thread the line
Through the slots in the body. There is no knot to learn and nothing to remember.
Loop the peg
Around your peg, ours or any other, and back up to the tensioner.
Pull, then forget about it
Tension it until the two marks line up. After that, the night is your business and not the tent's.
Why it exists
The knot always slips at four in the morning
Never at eleven, while you are still awake. Always at four, when the wind gets up and the last thing on earth you want is to walk out barefoot to re-tension a line. That is why this one tells you, at a glance, whether it is right.
- Adjusts with one hand
- Holds all night
- And lets go with one pull in the morning
You will want these too
The other two
There is no headliner here and two extras. Each one came out of a specific bad moment in the field.
If it breaks, the first one is on us.
One free replacement per purchase. Tell us what happened and a new one goes out.
